La Iniciativa para Opciones de Software es una coalición global creciente de compañías grandes y pequeñas consagradas al avance del concepto de que se les debe permitir a los mercados múltiples competitivos de software crecer y florecer sin impedimentos debidos a preferencias o mandatos del gobierno. La Iniciativa prepara activamente a los reguladores y normadores de todo el mundo en lo que se refiere a los beneficios de este planteamiento.
